Quran Competition Planned in New Ark, New Jersey

Newark Symphony Hall in Newark, New Jersey and Ma’oon Inc. plan to present "Path Towards Understanding Quran Through Recitation & Competition on Sunday, June 12.

Students are representing various Islamic Schools and organizations to display their talents and linguistic skills of reciting the Quran.

 The top 15 Students of Quran who have shown proficiency in reading, pronunciation, and rhythm will be judged for their abilities and awarded in three categories.

 The Quran Competition will be followed by an international ‘iftar, provided by the international communities of Greater Newark and vicinities. There will also be an awards presentation immediately afterwards.
