Ayatollah Abol Ghassem Alidoust, member of the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom, praised the outstanding functions and objectives of the letter by the Supreme Leader addressing the youger generation in the west saying that although the message is from a Muslim figure, it addresses the whole humanity, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He said,” The first feature of the letter by grand Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamanei, is that it is from a renowned figure from the world of Islam and although it is from a Muslim figure derived from Islamic teachings the content does not belong to a certain religion and addresses the whole humanity.”
He added,” Another feature of the letter is in its addresses who are the younger generation while another aspect in sending this message is the specific time which is not long after Daesh terrorist attacks in France playing the role of a foiling agent for the mean outcomes of the incidents under the name of Islam.”
The cleric also noted that the awakened conscience of the youths is the main addressee of the letter and said,” Naturally the best people to spread the message of this letter are the youths, particularly university students.”
Member of the academic board at Research Center of Culture and Islamic Thoughts highlighted the role of seminaries, elite and media in promoting the message of the Supreme Leader and said the letter will be the beginning of blessings among the western youths.
Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, in a letter addressed to the youth in the Western countries, has described the bitter terrorist events in France as a ground for deliberation.
Referring to painful examples of the “effects of terrorism, which is backed by certain big powers, on the Muslim world, [arrogant powers] support for Israel’s state terrorism, and harmful military campaigns [launched] against the Muslim world in recent years,” Ayatollah Khamenei said: “I ask you, young people, to lay the foundation for an appropriate and honorable interaction with the Muslim world based on correct knowledge and with deep insight and by taking advantage of tragic experiences [of the past].”
