According to the Center of Supervision on Mosque Affairs, Liakat Takim, the Professor of Denver University in Islamic Studies emphasized on significance of mosque in Islamic culture and mentioned the traditional role of mosque since early years of Islam.
He described mosque as the place for regular gathering of all Muslims and said: “That’s why it is significant place for awakening Muslims and reminding their social- political duties to do”.

McMaster University focused on role of mosque as a social media which can inform Muslims about what is happening in world and asserted that mosque could show the right way of fight against injustice.
“Some terrorist groups such as Takfiris and Salafists follow their personal and political interests. That’s why they hurt tranquility and safety of mosques. Their goal is groups is dividing the Islamic society and increase of tribal struggles”,Takim said.
